rotoscopy trial

an animation technique where animator trace over a video footage. As hard as it sounds, the results are very amazing.

using photoshop  i developed a small walking animation

each frame duration is 0.1 sec.it TOOK 26 frames to do this animation.i admit this works is a lot sloppy and done fast.

But using rotoscopy can provide great results.such example is the anime(south east asian animation) movie ; THE GARDEN OF WORDS.

It has one of the best rotoscopy i've ever seen.other than the pertfection by copying video footage, i got to know the walking pattern which i can reuse in another animation

Curious mind

Based on a morning dream stretched out like a rubber band in my diary, the story flashes a light in imagination and curiosity. For the story, i chose an artist as protagonist.

starting scene from the animation film. The film is currently in early stages

Persistence

This is a short animation film in making.I want to approach it in a semi-realistic kind of visual with bright colour tones.

Story is about a boy learning the power of persistence from a sparrow.i chose sparrow as it is most commonly seen in India.
This is a starting scene from the animation. The image is added further light yellow light to match indian mornings.the road also has uneven edges to signify a rural indian roadside

Below is a rough wire frame animation of sparrow spreading it's wings.
